Thermal Labels

Thermal labels are made of materials with a thermo active layer, which changes colour when exposed to heat: it turns black. This feature is used if no paint or tape is necessary. These labels are used in supermarkets, where the barcode, weight and price are printed on them. Very often these are labels with a pre-printed colour logo, address of the producer, etc. Only if necessary, the specific data are printed.
Due to the thermo active layer that changes its colour depending on the heat (also the sunshine) these labels are not suitable for long-term usage. It is best to use them for time periods that do not exceed several weeks. |
