Colognia Press Ltd. again one step further...

Company Colognia Press Ltd., a prominent label producer, decided to invest into quality.

Quality, the word that is a synonym of Colognia Press products, is a matter-of course to us. Markedly a great help in achieving this point of our work is process and technologically enabled by a new-installed digital CTP technology, which is not only environment-friendly, but also and mainly it moves products and the whole process of production two classes above analog technology.

The biggest advantages of this mechanism is first of all higher speed and flexibility of a process-block production compare to a "classic" analog process. The risk of forming uncalled-for effects in printing is lowered and increases quality of processing by eliminating possible faults originating during process of copying face from a film onto a desk. Through selection we chose for purposes, the company with an ideal product "Flexo CTP - CDI (Cyrel Digital Imager) Spark 4835" by ESKO, in Czech rep. represented by Macron.

While using the analog process edges of printing dots were blind, what had an adverse effect on the final printing quality and caused a shorter service life of forms. On the contrary digital technology has a totally opposite effect - particular printing dots have sharp edges and plunge. Dot gain is smaller, which effect in a positive way the final printing quality.

Another advantage of the digital image is an ability of forming a smaller printing dot, which enables a chance of achieving much finer motives and far more consistent do gain. Advance in printing quality, having an effect mainly on a reproduction of technicoloured copies, offers also use of remarkably higher lineatures what in some cases gives a flexoprint ability to compete not only with gravure printing, that is slowly being pushed away, but also with offset printing.

On the side of environmental protection, the new machine follows the trend of our company - mainly because we managed to get rid of producing communally unfavorable waste generated by the analog way. All of this is underlined by an unanimous appraisal of environmental audit and by full filing all rules of the OHSAS Norm in January 2008.
